That's quite some money, don't you think? I don't think that it is unreasonable, most MMORPG's require a monthly fee to play, and the customer service is at least as good here as it is on the pay games. As far as paying for 2 collectors editions, if thats what you want to do thats fine, but you still arent paying a monthly fee, and if you have 2 accounts, you are probably pretty s4rious about it, so in retorospect, no i dont think that that is very much money considering what you will be getting out of it, especially since thats all you will be paying. |

I have spent $100 on the game plus factions, and have been playing since the game came out, thats less then $10 a month, most MMORPGs charge about $15 q month plus the cost of the game, if you don't think thats value, then maybe you should stick to yahoo spades or something. |

This event really sucks
why could they not just make it so you can take your characters to the new section? The people who play the game the most don't have spare character slots and have to muck around with invitee information that many who have friends in rl have already given out. Does this mean that we are not going to be able to play our main characters in the new game? If so I want to cancel my pre-order. This is just one crap thing amongst many in recent updates - I can see this game going the same way as Eve online (crap game play) |

Wow, just wow. You DID NOT enter the Factions key. Nobody HAS the Factions key. You entered the *PREORDER* key, which does not give you slots because it costs like, what, $2? Calm down, when the real key comes, you will get six slots. Everything you do WILL be reset after this weekend, except for unlocks. But good god, just send yourself an email and enjoy the weekend.
OMFG, your old characters WILL go to Cantha, just not for this weekend so you can't aquire any new goods. This weekend is a PREVIEW weekend, NOT a weekend where you can play early. God, I swear some people on this site CANNOT read or something. |

I sent myself an invite since I have 4 character (PvE) slots full and that's what everybody was saying to do. The clent thingy just locates my current GW install and the only options are Run Guild Wars from current location, Reinstall and Uninstall....zuh? So I booted up GW anyways and added the invite key from the email and.... nothing. It looks like you still have to delete a character to join the FPE so I give up. I'll check out Factions April 28th when I buy the full game. Heh.
